Welcome to my virtual studio! I'm a Vancouver-based Artist in BC, Canada and part of the Vancouver Art Guild.

​Painting has always been an integral part of my life. As a child, I would rather be engaged in art than anything else. Art helps me to understand, process, and express my inner and outer world.  

Sometimes being able to see things from a different perspective can change the whole landscape of an idea, place, or thing. My work is centered on the relationships of form, color, line, and space and how these relationships inform our feelings and our perceptions.

I love painting with oils. The sensory experience of loading my brush, the smoothness as I put my brush to canvas, and the butter-like glistening of the paint. I also like exploring and experimenting with other mediums- sometimes using them alone or in combination.

My work is diverse as I explore and work out my relationship with and to my subject matter. It includes the representational to the abstract. I put no limits or rules on what I can paint or how I should paint and this allows the painting to grow and evolve.

Being part of that process brings me creative freedom and joy.
